Giving a worldwide voice to wildlife by providing a permanent, loving home for displaced, abused, abandoned or permanently injured wild and exotic animals – sharing these animal ambassadors through our Zoo to You outreach program with school children and learners of all ages to educate them about conservation, connect them to the wild world, and inspire them to protect the planet.
For more than a decade Emery Heights Elite has worked to serve the young men and women of the greater Washington DC metro communities of Brightwood, Manor Park, Petworth, Sheppard Park and 16th Street Heights. We value the relationships we have built with the young people in the area we serve and are committed to serving them so they will return to serve those who follow in their foot steps.
Deer Hollow Farm is a 160 year-old historical ranch in Silicon Valley. Its mission is to support environmental education programs for our kids and community. Open to the public, this nonprofit teaching farm welcomes 100,000+ visitors and thousands of students annually.
QuestBridge is a powerful platform bridging the nation’s brightest, under-served youth and leading institutions of higher education and further opportunities. QuestBridge provides a single, internet-based meeting point which links exceptional students with colleges, scholarship providers, enrichment programs, employers, and organizations seeking students who have excelled despite obstacles. By facilitating these exchanges, QuestBridge aims to increase the percentage of talented low-income students attending the nation’s best universities and the ranks of national leadership itself.
